Patrick Swayze and Kirstie Alley in ABC's 'North and South'

Forget about putting Baby in a corner. It looks like Patrick Swayze might have put his prior co-star, Kirstie Alley, in a corner.

In a new interview with “Entertainment Tonight,” Alley admits that she fell in love with Swayze on the set of the 1985 ABC mini-series “North and South.”

The actress vaguely stated, “Both of us were married,” clarifying that they “did not have an affair.” She then went on to say, “But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you’re married, you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It’s doubly bad.”

This confession might make things a bit difficult for Swayze’s widow and lifelong partner of 36 years, Lisa Niemi. Alley says she is good friends with Niemi, and was even asked to speak at Swayze’s funeral in 2009. No word yet on how she’ll react to this big reveal or if she was even aware of it.

What do you think about Alley divulging this information? Is she simply being honest or is she pouring salt on a wound that has yet to heal from losing such a beloved and talented man far too soon? You might want to see Alley speak for yourself before you decide.
